WELCOME

Welcome to TEAM QUEST Wrestling Club. TQWC offers wrestling instruction, training, and competition opportunities athletes of all age, whether you are a novice or an elite athlete.  

Wrestling is a challenging sport – both physically and mentally. Our mission is to educate boys and girls about the sport of wrestling. We aim to inspire sportsmanship, integrity, character, leadership, and wrestling excellence. We foster an atmosphere of ethical conduct and respect while having fun.

 

TQWC is a non-profit corporation.  

Our club will train and compete in all disciplines of wrestling.

The Folkstyle (collegiate) season runs September through February. The international or Olympic Style season will run March through June.

·      Athletes can train year-round or break it up by seasons

Pre-Season Starts September 6th through November 10th

 

Regular Season Starts November 28th through February 25th

 

International Season Starts March 6th through June 30th

 

ELIGIBILITY

TQWC welcomes any athlete 6 years old and up boys and girls. TQWC is a USA Wrestling Charter Club all athletes are required to have a current USA Wrestling Card.

REGISTRATION FEES

$129 for a single wrestler. We offer discounts if there are athletes in same family.

 

PRACTICE

Athletes must arrive on time and be ready for training. This includes being dressed appropriately and ready to listen and learn.  Appropriate attire wrestling singlet or t-shirt, shorts, and wrestling shoes.  Headgear is not required in training. It is in the wrestler’s best interest to attend as many practices as possible. We are building strong minds and bodies and discipline is required and will be developed.

COMPETITION

TQWC is a member of the Northwest Junior Collegiate Wrestling Association – NWJCWA is a preparatory league, every attempt is made to mirror competitive atmosphere and conditions at elite events. For advance athletes there will be opportunities to compete regionally, nationally as well as internationally. We start locally with opportunities to take on the world.

EQUIPMENT

You must provide the following equipment for your child - 

All Wrestlers:

  • Wrestling Shoes

  • Training Gear

  • Mouthguard (optional)

Wrestling shoes are not to be worn outdoors or in the restrooms. You can purchase shoe covers, use oversized slides to slip on over their shoes, or have a change of shoes available.
